Ghanaian singer Cina Soul has opened up about how she creates some of her songs.

In an interview on Hitz FM on December 10, 2025, Cina Soul revealed that many of her melodies appear in her dreams, adding that she often transforms them into global hits.

“I’ve mentioned before that sometimes the melodies come in dreams. When they do, you literally have to wake yourself up and record them.

“It’s the hardest thing because the sleep is very sweet, but you still have to wake up. The melody is too good, so you get up and record it,” she said.

Cina Soul further explained that she sometimes writes lyrics from the melodies she dreams about or produces parts of the song herself before consulting a producer.

“So, when that happens, I take the melodies to the studio, and we create a record. Other times, I go to the studio, hear an instrumentation, hop on it, and it works.

“There are times I write the words first before adding instrumentation. Sometimes I even play the instrumentation myself. I have a small studio where I work, and then I take it to the producer, who turns it into something,” she added.
