Former Big Brother Naija housemate Beauty Tukura has shared a deeply emotional account of her struggles following her disqualification from the reality TV show three years ago, describing the period as one of the darkest times in her life.

In a candid reflection, the ex-beauty queen revealed that the intense backlash she faced on social media, particularly on Twitter, left her feeling hopeless and misunderstood.

According to her, the criticism was so overwhelming that she felt as though viewers wanted to crucify her, leaving little room for empathy or forgiveness.

She recalled how she avoided contact with her parents despite their efforts to reach out, because the shame was unbearable, but her parents kept sending her messages of love and support.

Beauty went on to disclose that the cyberbullying and judgment pushed her to a dark mental space where she contemplated ending her life.

The constant negative comments from people who only knew her through the show deepened her feelings of despair and isolation.

However, the reality star expressed gratitude to her fans who stood by her through the ordeal. She said their messages of encouragement and kindness gave her the strength to keep going when she felt lost.

While she described her disqualification as the lowest point of her journey, Beauty said it also became the beginning of her emotional recovery and self-discovery.
