Award-winning Ghanaian singer and songwriter Kuami Eugene has revealed that he is off the market, confirming for the first time in an interview that he is in a committed relationship.

Speaking on Onua FM with media personality and TikTok star Felicia Osei, the “Belinda” hitmaker opened up about his relationship and how his girlfriend handles the complexities of dating a public figure.

Felicia, during the interview, shared her observation of the musician’s partner, noting a moment where the two appeared to communicate silently through eye contact, a gesture she interpreted as a sign of a strong connection and understanding.

Kuami Eugene confirmed her sentiments, adding that his girlfriend is indeed very protective of him, though she understands the demands of his profession.

“She came into my life when I was already doing music, so with all the pros and cons that come with it, she has to [accept it],” Kuami Eugene said.

Despite her support, the former Lynx Entertainment signee admitted that his girlfriend deliberately stays away from certain aspects of his career, particularly music video shoots, citing her discomfort with the nature of such productions.

“She doesn’t come to the set because she won’t enjoy it,” he explained. “She might say she’ll stay calm, but we both know peace won’t prevail if she’s there.”
