I am writing this with a heart heavier than I ever thought possible.
For the past 20 years, I have dedicated my life to being a father. I provided my daughter with everything she needed, sacrificed to send her to the best schools, and made sure she never lacked for anything.
She is currently in her third year at university, and to our entire family, she was the picture of innocence and normalcy. We never suspected a thing.
My world came crashing down last week. While scrolling on Twitter, I stumbled upon a photo of my daughter, scantily clad in a swimsuit. My initial shock turned to utter disbelief as I scrolled through her profile. There were countless more photos and videos of her in various states of undress, all promoting a link for “exclusive content.”
Driven by curiosity and a desperate hope that it wasn’t true, I clicked the link. I was directed to a subscription-based page where viewers are asked to pay GH¢1000 per month for uncensored material. In a daze, I paid the fee.
What I saw next has scarred me for life. The page was filled with the most explicit content imaginable, featuring my own child.
She was using sex toys of every kind, vibrators, whips, nipple clamps, and more.
The final, devastating blow was witnessing her engage in intimate acts with her female friend, a young woman who has even spent the night in our home.
The betrayal, the confusion, and the sheer horror of it all are overwhelming.
The innocent daughter I thought I knew is living a life I cannot comprehend. I am lost, heartbroken, and don’t know where to turn.
Should I confront her? disown her? have her arrested?
