Veteran Gospel artiste Jack Alolome has said that his career has blown up in ways he never expected ever since the National Democratic Congress (NDC) came into power.

Alolome, who endorsed the NDC at the height of the 2024 general election season with the release of his song, ‘JM Begye Yen’, revealed on Hitz FM on October 3, 2025, that his decision has ushered in a new season of growth for his music career.

He clarified that his support for the NDC did not mean he was entering partisan politics but that he was being a concerned individual.

“Being a gospel musician doesn’t mean I should be silent about the ongoings in the country. Me releasing a song in support of the NDC doesn’t mean I was going into politics; I just supported the NDC,” he said.

He added that the NDC winning the 2024 elections has led to more bookings, sponsorships, and public recognition.

“Right now, my career has blown up too much; every day, important individuals are calling me. Everything has gone up. Bookings and my fees have all gone up. I am a big man now,” he said.

Jack also revealed that he is personally funding a show as proof of his commitment.

“The show that I am organising right now was all from my own pocket,” he added.

His remarks come after a period of backlash. Alolome had previously said many of his shows were cancelled following his public endorsement of the NDC in 2024. But after the elections, the move has helped him break barriers.
