Nations FC have advanced to the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup after defeating Berekum Chelsea 4–3 on penalties following a goalless draw in their quarter-final encounter on Sunday.

The tightly contested match at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park saw both teams battle intensely but fail to find a breakthrough in regulation time. Despite several attacking attempts, strong defensive performances from both sides ensured the score remained 0–0 after 90 minutes.

The deadlock continued into extra time, with neither side able to create the decisive moment, forcing the contest to be settled by a penalty shootout.

In the shootout, Nations FC held their nerve to claim a 4–3 victory after Berekum Chelsea missed three of their spot kicks. Samuel Tenedu, Oko Grippman and Benjamin Abaidoo all failed to convert, allowing the Abrankese-based side to secure qualification to the last four.

Despite missing his penalty, Chelsea midfielder Samuel Tenedu was named Man of the Match for his impressive display.

Chelsea defender Mohammed Siedu won the best defender award, while Nations FC youngster Frederick Nzoley was recognized as the Most Promising Player.
