Ghanaian Media Personality Mr. Peter Osei-Kesse, widely known in SHOWBIZ as Mr. BONEZ, has cemented his place as a leading figure in Ghanaian media by winning the highly coveted TV SHOW HOST OF THE YEAR award at the 5th FLOODLIGHT MEDIA EXCELLENCE AWARDS (FMEA). The star-studded event, celebrating media excellence, took place at the CCB Auditorium in Greater Kumasi. This latest accolade adds a significant chapter to the success story of the seasoned Media Personality, who is primarily known as the host of the flagship entertainment program ‘MUSIC PLUS’ on Kessben TV and ‘MUSIC ZONE’ on Kessben 93.3 FM.

Mr. Bonez is a well-established and highly respected name, particularly in the Ashanti Region’s media space, but his influence and Impact clearly spans the entire nation. His TV show, ‘MUSIC PLUS’ is lauded for its insightful discussions, top-notch content, and its role in promoting new talents in the Ghanaian Creative Industry. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Bonez has skillfully built a loyal following across both radio and television. His unique blend of a distinctive voice, a vibrant on-air persona, and a knack for effortlessly fusing entertainment with information has made his shows an unforgettable experience for his audience. This commitment to excellence and his unconventional, yet effective, approach to presenting entertainment matters undoubtedly played a critical role in his victory at the FMEA25.

The “TV SHOW HOST OF THE YEAR” win at the FLOODLIGHT MEDIA EXCELLENCE AWARDS follows a successful streak for the Kumasi-based host. Notably, he is also a consecutive winner of the Television Male Entertainment Show Host of the Year award at the CityHills Foklex Media Awards, having taken home the honor in 2024 and 2025. His continual recognition at major national award ceremonies like the FMEA, Foklex Media Awards and the RTP Awards highlights his enduring impact on the Ghanaian media scene. Beyond his hosting duties, Mr. Bonez is also a respected Marketing and Brand strategist, Music Executive, eMC, Voice Over Artiste, Entertainment and Arts Consultant, Event Management and Marketing, Content Curator, an Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and serves as a part-time lecturer at Kessben University College, demonstrating a broad dedication to the Arts and education.

The FMEA is an annual ceremony organized by the Floodlight Media Network to recognize and celebrate the excellent work of individuals, students, and institutions that have significantly contributed to the growth of Media in Ghana. The 5th edition, held in Greater Kumasi, continues the tradition of honoring the nation’s most outstanding media personalities.

His victory is a well-deserved salute to a host whose platform continues to serve as a repository of creative thoughts and ideas, proving him to be an undeniable force in the industry.
