Motorsport star Kylie Marie Walton has shared an update on her condition after her truck burst into flames during practice last month.
Walton and fellow off-road racing driver Janey Lee were driving their Monster Energy-sponsored truck in the days before San Felipe 250 in Baja California when a fuel cell exploded.
Lee was trapped inside the vehicle after her seat belts failed to release and Walton was forced to rescue her from the fiery wreckage.
The pair, who also work as models and promo girls, were both rushed to hospital. Walton has since been released, while Lee remains recovering in hospital.
Walton provided an update to anxious fans on Monday as she thanked them for their support through the challenging time.
‘I just wanted to take a moment to check in and say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the ongoing prayers, messages, and support. It truly means more to me than I can explain,’ she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.

She revealed that she remained at home surrounded by her family, including her parents and sister.
Walton added that she was ‘focusing on healing, resting, and taking things one day at a time.’
Alongside the post was a video of Walton having the dressings on her hands redone. She had required surgery after sustaining severe burns to her hands.
Meanwhile, Lee’s husband Eric previously shared that she had suffered ‘extensive burns to her legs’ and ‘will require several surgeries.’
Walton shared on Monday that she had visited Lee in the hospital while attending a doctor’s appointment last week.
‘It meant so much to check in on her and see how she’s doing in her recovery too,’ Walton wrote.
‘I know this road ahead is going to take time, but I’m so grateful to have all of you behind us. If you’d like to support Janey and I, you can visit our Road 2 Recovery cause page or grab one of our limited-edition Kylie & Janey stickers.. it truly helps more than you know.’
Lee and Walton are better known for being part of the Monster Energy Girls, a squad of women who are often seen posing alongside athletes at motorsport and MMA events.

They were preparing for last month’s San Felipe 250 when a fuel cell reportedly ‘exploded’
But in recent years they have moved behind the wheel themselves. Last September they made their debut in a SCORE event.
‘Sending all our love and good vibes to Kylie and Janey,’ Monster Energy said following the incident in March.
In a statement, the sport’s sanctioning body said: ‘This morning, SCORE International officials became aware of an accident involving two competitors with their pre-run vehicle in San Felipe.
‘Both are currently stable and receiving medical care. Thanks to the rapid response of those nearby, they received initial treatment locally before being transported to the United States for further emergency care.
‘This sport is built on a tight community, and moments like this are felt across all of it. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, their families, and their teams.’
