A high school in Sydney‘s southwest was put under lockdown while police respond to a ‘threat’.

Officers were called to Moorebank High School, on Bangalow Avenue in Chipping Norton, about 2.30pm on Wednesday.

Students were slowly released from the premises, followed by teachers.

The police operation has since concluded and no injuries were reported.
