Melbourne commuters are facing significant delays this morning following a major crash on the Monash Freeway, impacting outbound traffic from Wellington Road to Jackson Road.

A truck has overturned, blocking several lanes, with its cab window visibly smashed. Emergency services are on the scene, working to clear the wreckage, but the extent of the damage is causing heavy congestion in the area.

Details surrounding the cause of the crash remain unclear, and it is not yet known how many vehicles are involved.
