This is a moment a brawl broke out on the steps of a London Tube station, just feet away from a screaming baby.

The fight broke out between three men at the entrance to Highbury and Ilington Station on Thursday, July 17 at around 5.30pm.

Distressed members of the public watched on as a group of men were seen punching and kicking each other.

A video captured the moment just after the fight begun, with a man on the floor being repeatedly punched by a group of men.

A toddler was seen abandoned at the bottom of the steps as the men continued to attack one another.

Nearby baby in a buggy can be seen crying on the opposite side of the barrier as her distressed mother shouts aloud.

A man wearing a suit then rushed up the stairs and begins to kick the head of a man in a grey tracksuit.

The suited man then throws a rugsack up towards the ceiling and down the stairs.

Then another one of the men swings on the his legs upwards to kick two others, before he is pulled down by three men and put on the ground again.

The suited man then continues to kick him repeatedly before the man being attacked is dropped onto his back on the stairs.

Officers received a report of a fight at Highbury and Islington Underground station at around 5.30pm yesterday.

Officers are aware of footage circulating on social media, and the incident is currently being investigated.
