Afrobeats star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru was caught in a heated off-camera exchange during an Instagram Live session hosted by a media personality Daddy Freeze.

The broadcast featured two of the singer’s former management associates, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, who alleged that Natasha exercised excessive control over the artist’s professional affairs.

The pair further claimed that the newly married lawmaker often displayed violent outbursts, referencing past incidents involving the couple, including an alleged domestic disturbance in the United Kingdom.

Midway through the session, as the allegations continued, 2Baba abruptly joined the livestream, sternly warning his former managers to stop discussing his private life.

Moments later, raised voices believed to be the singer and his wife were heard in the background, prompting Daddy Freeze to end the broadcast abruptly.

The incident has intensified public scrutiny of the couple’s relationship, which became a subject of widespread attention earlier in the year after 2Baba announced his separation from actress Annie Idibia in January. He proposed to Osawaru in February, and the pair married in July.

The recent controversy revived earlier claims that the singer was briefly taken into police custody in the UK following an alleged altercation with Natasha during his tour in October.

Although 2Baba denied the report at the time, maintaining that he only missed a performance due to a medical emergency, the allegations have resurfaced in the wake of the viral live session.
