Black Stars defender Mohammed Salisu travelled to the United Arab Emirates following the break in the French Ligue 1.

The Ghana international is in Dubai not just for holidays but also working on his fitness. The former Southampton defender was spotted with a trainer in the Middle Eastern nation as he went through fitness drills.

He is expected to continue his training in the UAE till the return of Ligue 1 in January.

Salisu has been a pivotal figure in the AS Monaco team this season as the Red and White battle for the title with favourite Paris Saint Germain.

The 25-year-old centre-back has made 14 appearances across all competitions for Monaco this season, scoring a goal in the UEFA Champions League. His performances against Dinamo Zagreb earned him a place in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Week.

Salisu joined the French giants in the summer of 2023, but injuries after the start of his career in Ligue 1.

However, the former Real Valladolid star bounced back and has since been one of the best defenders in the league.
