Mohammed Kudus has pledged to help West Ham United bounce back and fight for European places next season after a torrid 2024/25 campaign.

The Hammers, who reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League last season, have struggled this term and currently sit just one place above the relegation zone.

Kudus has endured an underwhelming season himself, scoring only four goals in the Premier League—half of his tally from the previous campaign.

However, the 24-year-old believes that the setback will serve as motivation for him and his teammates to achieve more in the 2025/26 season.

“100%, that should be the focus and that should be the standard every season,” he said when asked if the team will come back stronger next season.

“Like I said, we take a lot of lessons from these down times. Every setback, for me personally, I see as an opportunity to grow and focus on what lies ahead,” he added in an interview with Sky Sports.

The former Ajax forward’s future at West Ham remains uncertain, with several clubs reportedly interested in securing his services.

Kudus and his teammates will travel to Old Trafford on Sunday to face Europa League finalists Manchester United.
