Arsenal are reportedly considering a January move for West Ham star Mohammed Kudus following a challenging start to their Premier League campaign.
According to The Mirror, the Gunners had previously aimed to secure Kudus from Ajax before his £40 million move to West Ham last summer, but financial constraints thwarted those plans.
Now, with Arsenal looking to bolster their squad, Kudus could finally make the switch across London. Meanwhile, Leandro Trossard has been linked with a potential move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad, which could create an opening for Kudus.
Trossard, who has struggled to find form recently, has gone without a goal since September, leading to frustrations among the Arsenal fanbase. In a disappointing performance against Newcastle, he failed to register a shot on target and was dispossessed 11 times.
Kudus is currently serving a suspension for violent conduct after being sent off during West Ham’s 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. Despite this setback, he has remained in the spotlight, particularly after being spotted at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium during their impressive 2-0 Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain. With January approaching, both Kudus and Arsenal fans will be eager to see if a deal can finally materialize.
