New office block handed over to the Ghana Armed Forces Pay Regiment

Mobus Properties Limited has handed over a newly constructed office block to the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Pay Regiment at Burma Camp, Accra.

The facility, designed to improve efficiency in financial management for military personnel, marks a significant step in enhancing administrative operations within the regiment.

The ceremony brought together high-ranking military officers, officials from Mobus Properties, and other dignitaries.

In his remarks, the special guest of the occasion, Lieutenant Colonel Ababio Serebour (Rtd), expressed appreciation for the new infrastructure being named after him.

He emphasised the block’s role in creating a more conducive environment for the regiment’s staff.

“I will be humbled by the gesture by the Commanding Officer to name this edifice in my honour. Today marks a significant milestone not only in my life but also in the history of our great course. I am reminded that this honour is not just mine alone. It represents the quality, spirit of service, sacrifice, and resilience that define the forces they call the Ghana Armed Forces,” he said.

He further charged the Pay Regiment to utilise the opportunity to foster cooperation between the regiment and its client.

“The Remittance Group is the hub that interfaces the relationship between forces being regulated in the corporate world. What we see today will go a long way to deepen the existing relationship and foster cooperation between the regiment and its corporate partners. This building will serve as a constant reminder of our common goal to always achieve excellence and deliver on our mandates,” he added.

For his part, the CEO of Mobus Properties, Kojo Ansah Mensah, stated that the project aligns with the company’s commitment to supporting national institutions through infrastructure development, citing the new block as a testament to the partnership.

“This building symbolises more than Corporate Social Responsibility; it’s a testament to partnership. For over a decade, Mobus has developed award-winning residential, commercial, and industrial spaces across West Africa. Renovating this office required meticulous planning, just like our various developments. We upgraded infrastructure, optimised layout proficiency, and incorporated sustainable practices to ensure this facility serves you for many years,” he stated.

With the new office block now operational, personnel of the Pay Regiment are expected to experience improved workflow, enhanced efficiency, and better service delivery to the Armed Forces.

This development reflects ongoing efforts to modernise key military support services, ensuring they meet contemporary standards.
