Ghanaian rapper Medikal, born Samuel Adu Frimpong, has lashed out at entertainment pundit MC Yaa Yeboah following her public condemnation of his on-stage interaction with a female fan during the Evandy Hall Week celebration.

A now-viral video captured Medikal embracing a young woman on stage and allegedly touching her buttocks, prompting widespread criticism from social media users who labeled the act as inappropriate and intentional.

Joining the growing chorus of disapproval, MC Yaa Yeboah expressed strong views on the incident, calling for accountability and legal consequences.

“If you see a lady dressed in a manner where part of her body is exposing, it doesn’t give you any right to touch her unless she has given you the chance. You pressed her buttocks,” she said during a broadcast.

She further argued that in a more stringent legal environment, the rapper could have faced immediate arrest and reputational damage.

“If this had happened in any serious country, Medikal would have been arrested by now. Also, by this time, ambassadorial deals would have been pulled down,” she added.

Medikal, clearly incensed by the remarks, fired back in a video posted to his social media channels. In his rebuttal, the rapper dismissed MC Yaa Yeboah’s criticism and launched a verbal tirade in response.

“You are a very stupid woman. I respect women a lot but the fact that she has the guts to say I am a fool means she doesn’t have sense,” he said.

“You should be disappointed in yourself because you don’t know what you are saying. You are talking about the issue because everyone is speaking about it,” Medikal added.
