Midfielder Salim Adams has been named the NASCO Player of the Month for January after an impressive run of form in the Ghana Premier League.

The Medeama SC star beat competition from Jon Antwi of Dreams FC and Christian Agyenim Boateng of FC Samartex 1996 to secure the accolade. Adams scored three goals in January and earned two Man of the Match awards, underlining his influence in Medeama’s midfield and their push up the league table.

His goals and overall performances played a key role in Medeama’s positive results during the month, as the former league champions continued their pursuit of a strong finish in the ongoing campaign.

As part of the award package, Adams will receive a 43-inch NASCO television set and a NASCO double-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer, courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited, sponsors of the monthly recognition scheme.
