Medeama SC center-back Jacob Mensah has expressed confidence ahead of Medeama SC’s Ghana Premier League clash against Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
The defender, who has been impressive this season and formed a strong partnership with captain Yusif Mubarik at the heart of defense, believes the team is fully prepared for the challenge.
The Mauve and Yellows head into the game on the back of a 2-0 win over Eleven Wonders, with goals from Kelvin Obeng and Salim Adams ending their six-game winless run. The result lifted the Mauve and Yellows back to the top of the table with 49 points.
Speaking ahead of the fixture, Mensah stressed the team’s winning mentality as they aim to maintain their position at the summit.
“We are ready for the game as Bechem United. Right now, we are going for a win in every game we play. That’s the mentality. For us, we are working, and we are ready for every game,” he told Medi TV.
The match-week 28 encounter is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, with kickoff set for 15:00 GMT at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
