Medeama Sporting Club are reportedly interested in signing Richmond Opoku from Young Apostles FC ahead of the upcoming football season.

The Ghana Premier League champions are said to be monitoring the forward as they look to strengthen their squad for domestic and continental competitions next season. Opoku’s performances for Young Apostles have attracted attention following an impressive campaign that highlighted his attacking qualities and consistency.

Medeama are expected to reinforce several areas of the team as preparations begin for another title challenge and participation in Africa’s inter-club competitions.

Although negotiations are still at an early stage, sources indicate the Tarkwa-based club view Opoku as a strong option to boost their attacking department.

The interest from Medeama represents another major opportunity for the talented forward, whose performances continue to earn recognition within the Ghana Premier League.

No official agreement has yet been announced between the two clubs.
