Medeama SC have officially been crowned champions of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League after an emphatic 5-2 victory over Heart of Lions at the TnA Stadium.
The dominant victory confirmed the Mauve and Yellows as league champions with one game remaining, securing their second Ghana Premier League title and their second triumph in just four seasons.
Kelvin Obeng and Derrick Fordjour both scored braces for Medeama, while Prince Owusu added the fifth goal to complete a memorable afternoon in Tarkwa.
The home side produced an attacking masterclass in front of their supporters as they celebrated another historic achievement in the club’s growing success story.
The coronation atmosphere at the TnA Stadium was further boosted by performances from Ghanaian music duo DopeNation, who thrilled fans before the official trophy presentation ceremony.
Following their league triumph, Medeama SC will now represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League.
