The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has charged his players to stay grounded following their outstanding start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

The Yellow and Mauve outfit opened their league campaign with a 2-0 victory against Young Apostles last weekend.

Today, the team thumped Vision Football Club 4-0 in their first home match at the TnA Stadium.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Ibrahim Tanko shared his excitement, but stressed that his team is a long way away from clinching the Ghana Premier League title.

He urged his players to continue working hard to stay in the race to become league champions.

“We have to continue working hard because the season is still young. I said it at the beginning of the season. We are one of the teams that can win the league, but we have a lot of work to do,” Tanko said.

Up next for Medeama Sporting Club, they will take on Karela United in Week 3.
