The MOTM winners received phones and men’s grooming sets

The best players of the weekend’s Ghana Premier League match week 8 fixtures did not only go home with the honor, they also went home with Nasco products, sleek mobile phones, and men’s grooming sets for being named the Nasco Man of the Match of their various games.

The match week kicked off in Sogakope between Legon Cities and Accra Lions, which ended in a goalless draw. Jacob Gildas Awoute was awarded the Nasco Man of the Match award.

On Sunday, Nations FC defeated Vision FC at home by 3 goals to nothing, with Faisal Charwetey of Nations FC adjudged the Nasco Man of the Match for scoring a brace, and his teammate Danso scored the third goal to finish off Vision at Abrankese.

At Anyinase, Basake Holy Stars got a draw against title contenders Kumasi Asante Kotoko, and Prince Tweneboah of Basake Holy Stars was given the Nasco Man of the Match award. He also scored the 82nd-minute equalizer for Holy Stars.

Lomotey Agbloe scored the only goal in the second half to give Young Apostles a much-needed three points at home against Dreams FC. John Attah Junior Afram was awarded the Nasco Man of the Match after a very secure performance from him.

In Kpando, Hearts of Lions defeated Nsoatreman by one goal to nil, with the only goal scored by Nana Oppong. However, Christian Agyenim Boateng was adjudged the Nasco Man of the Match.

Defending champions Samartex defeated Berekum Chelsea with just a goal at home in Tarkwa, and Samartex’s Isaac Afful was the Nasco Man of the Match.

Bechem United played a goalless draw with Karela United at the Bechem Park. Francis Acquah of Bechem United was named the Nasco Man of the Match at the end of the game.

Ghana’s oldest club, Accra Hearts of Oak, suffered a home defeat to Bibiani Gold Stars by just a goal to nil at Legon. Attah Kumi scored the only goal for Bibiani, but Emmanuel Kobi was named the Nasco Man of the Match.

And finally, in Dormaa Ahenkro, Aduana Stars drew 2-2 with Tarkwa-based club Medeama FC at the Agyeman Badu Stadium. Abdel Lafif Bamba of Aduana Stars was named the Nasco Man of the Match.
