Ghanaian forward Mark Assinor delivered a standout performance to power LNZ Cherkasy to a vital away win over Epitsentr Kamianets-Podilskyi in the Ukrainian Premier League on Saturday.
The 25-year-old played the full 90 minutes in the Week 17 fixture at the Stadion Avanhard in Rivne, producing a clinical display to secure all three points for the visitors.
Assinor opened the scoring in the 41st minute, calmly finishing inside the box after being set up by Yevgeniy Pastukh to hand Cherkasy a slender lead at the break. The Ghanaian forward doubled the advantage five minutes into the second half, finding space in the final third before dispatching a composed finish beyond the goalkeeper.
The brace proved decisive as Cherkasy held on to seal an important victory in their league campaign.
Since joining the club in 2024, Assinor has grown into a key figure for the Ukrainian side. His latest goals take his tally to five in 16 league appearances this season, further underlining his influence in attack.
