The ‘Manosphere’ streamer Ed Matthews has been jailed over an alleged paedophile sting, it is reported.
Matthews, who is a close friend of streamer HSTikkyTokky and appeared in Louis Theroux‘s Inside the Manosphere documentary, previously live-streamed himself confronting alleged paedophiles alongside a group of ‘hunters’.
In June 2024, the 24-year-old was handed a community order after he shared a video of himself assaulting a man who he claimed was a paedophile.
He was fined £264 and told to complete 150 hours of unpaid work and rehabilitation activity days as part of his sentence.
But on August 19, after he failed to comply with the order, he was jailed for 12 weeks at Basildon Magistrates’ Court, as reported by The Sun.
In the original live-stream, Matthews ambushed the alleged paedophile and told him to eat an extremely spicy crisp or he would be arrested by the police.
Matthews then wrestled the man to the ground and held him down in the video.
He was convicted of assault by beating and using threatening and abusive language or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress at Willesden Magistrates’ Court in 2025.

The man the streamer was convicted of beating is set to stand trial in 2028 for attempting to meet a child after grooming them.
Reacting to his sentencing, HSTikkyTokky claimed Matthews’ sentencing was ‘absolutely ridiculous’.
In a video shared on Instagram, Matthews alleged he was ‘on a peak bang up right now, 23 hours a day because I’m high profile. All alone in my cell’.
He also urged his followers to turn up to his upcoming court date next month.
Earlier this year, Matthews appeared on Louis Theroux’s Inside the Manosphere documentary.
Mr Theroux interviewed Matthews during his time in Marbella, where he also spent time with HSTikkyTokky.
During their conversation, Matthews shared anti-semitic claims that Jewish people controlled the world ‘without the best intentions’ and used ‘vibrations that are going to negatively bring you down’.
In a post online after the documentary, he asked if the Netflix-produced show was a ‘hit piece’ and said ‘maybe we can do a hit piece on [Mr Theroux]’.
