Samuel Anim Addo, manager of former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, has waded into the ongoing controversy surrounding Andre Dede Ayew’s exclusion from the national team by head coach Otto Addo.
Responding to a statement from Fiifi Tackie, spokesperson for the Ayew family, Anim Addo shared a cryptic message on social media:
🗣️ “No condition is permanent.”
Background of the Dispute:
🔹 Otto Addo explained Dede Ayew’s omission by saying: “For Andre [Dede Ayew], the team is always open, and I am watching. If we need him, we will call him. At the moment, I see others ahead of him.”
🔹 Fiifi Tackie called the remarks “disrespectful and unprofessional”, arguing that they undermine Ayew’s contributions to Ghanaian football.
Andre Ayew’s Black Stars Absence:
📌 The former captain last played for Ghana in 2023 during a 3-0 win over Liberia in an international friendly.
📌 His omission from the recent squad has sparked debate about his future with the national team.
With tensions brewing between the Ayew family and the Black Stars technical team, Samuel Anim Addo’s comment suggests that situations in football can change quickly.
