Narrating the experience, he explained that he took the lady to ShopRite, and they decided to stop by Cold Stone for ice cream.

Confidently, he ordered two medium cups only to be told the price was ₦14,000 per cup. Trying not to look embarrassed, he kept quiet so he wouldn’t appear like a fool.

To his surprise, the lady immediately intervened, saying the price was way too high and suggested they get something cheaper instead.

According to him, she didn’t act embarrassed, entitled, or dramatic, just genuinely considerate.

She then took him to a frozen yoghurt spot nearby where they bought cones for ₦2,500 each, and she was perfectly content with the change of plan.

The man, who admitted he had been delaying the relationship because he didn’t want to rush and regret later, said that the lady’s humility and practicality during that small moment shook him.

He confessed that the gesture made him see her differently and even consider that she might be ‘the one,’ though he wondered if he was overthinking it.

His story has since gone viral, with many Nigerians praising the lady’s behaviour and saying such small acts often reveal a person’s true character.
