A man has been rushed to hospital with a forearm injury after he fell about two-metres in a workplace incident in Sydney’s north-west. 

Emergency services first believed the man had suffered a gunshot wound but upon arrival at Anytime Fitness, Box Hill about 3.15pm on Friday, determined he had been involved in a workplace injury, Daily Telegraph reported. 

A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance told Daily Mail Australia the man had fallen approximately two metres and sustained a forearm injury. 

He was taken to Westmead Hospital.

NSW Police confirmed it was a ‘workplace incident’ and had been handed over to Safework NSW.
