In the Volta Region of Ghana, a guy unintentionally knocked a recently purchased BMW car, which led to a violent argument with a police officer during the day, according to the report by CITI FM.

The violent nature of the altercation has drawn attention to the incident, which happened on a busy roadway.

Witnesses said that the man, who had recently purchased the BMW, struck the police officer’s car while he was traveling through a crowded area.

Although both cars showed considerable damage from the impact of the collision, however, no one was gravely hurt.

When the policeman went to the man to evaluate the damage and settle the dispute, things swiftly got out of hand.

According to reports, the individual became angry and began to argue with the police rather than cooperate.

Why are you accusing me? The man allegedly yelled at the officer, “It’s just a small accident!” and denied any involvement in the crash.

The dispute became violent in the intensity of the moment. There was a confrontation in the middle of the street when the man allegedly hit the officer.

The abrupt turn of events startled onlookers, and many of them immediately took out their phones to record the altercation.

In an interview following the event, the police officer stated, “I was just trying to help him, but he attacked me instead.”

“This is not how this nation’s problems should be resolved. We must remain composed and let the law to work itself out.

Other police officers showed up to break up the brawl as it was still going on. Soon after, the individual was placed under restraint and brought into custody to be questioned.

The suspect will be charged with assaulting a police officer and causing an accident, according to local authorities.

The incident has prompted discussions regarding appropriate handling techniques and the value of maintaining composure, particularly while interacting with law enforcement.

In the area, a lot of individuals are demanding improved road safety education and civility toward police officers.
