A man has died after a bulldozer rolled over at a cement facility at the Port of Brisbane on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to Bulk Terminal Drive shortly after 6.20am, where firefighters worked to stabilise the overturned bulldozer so crews could safely reach the operator.

The man, who suffered critical injuries in the incident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Aerial footage from the site appears to show the bulldozer collided with another piece of machinery, with the bulldozer later propped up by a jack.

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has launched an investigation into the incident.

‘WHSQ inspectors are onsite and inquiries into the incident are underway, as this is an active investigation, no further comment can be made at this time,’ a spokesperson said.
