Broken windscreen
A man was arrested yesterday for allegedly smashing the windscreens of several vehicles parked on the premises of Parliament House in Accra.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the suspect, whose identity has not yet been revealed, moving among the parked vehicles and using a metal object to shatter the windscreens. The motive behind the act remains unclear.
Security personnel at Parliament responded quickly, apprehending the suspect at the scene.
At the time of the arrest, he was heard saying “Father have mercy on them. Daddy, they don’t know what they are doing… It is for your own good.”
The suspect has since been handed over to the Ghana Police Service.
