Malik Basintale, the recently hired CEO, issued a warning to employees on his first day of work at the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) headquarters.

When he took over as the new YEA boss on Monday, January 27, Malik Basintale wasted no time in establishing the tone.

Speaking with a few YEA employees, Malik Basintale said, “There shouldn’t be any fear. I have one mandate, which is to achieve in delivering jobs the unemployed youth, which is very dear to my heart.”

We are here to work and make His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Mahama, proud, not to hunt for money, he said. “That’s what I dislike and what I keep saying is that if your goal is to make money or look for money, then you better resign today and go home,” he said.

On X yesterday, January 26, 2025, Malik Basinate sent an announcement on social media inviting the young people to come to the YEA before assuming leadership of the organization.

Despite being a street kid, Malik Basintale claims he will never abandon anyone.

“I’m from the street, and we’re not abandoning anyone,” he posted on X. For that reason, Dear 3K women, 5K men, far rangers, bodycams team, Cock and hold unknown rangers, fire flames, Okada ningers, etc. Please feel free to join me tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the YEA headquarters 😊🙏🏽. Join us in creating the Ghana we desire.

TV3 published a footage of young NDC youths cheering as they waited for the Basintale child to arrive.

When Malik Basintale was named CEO of YEA by President John Dramani Mahama, the NDC youth wing enthusiastically welcomed him.

Some Ghanaians, on the other hand, have brazenly stated Malik Basintale on social media that there is nothing wrong with making or seeking money. They contend that the primary reason individuals work is to earn money, but that earning money legitimately is the most crucial factor.
