KSM is a veteran comedian

Ghanaian comedian and commentator, Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM), has expressed disappointment with the pace of the Mahama administration’s flagship anti-corruption initiative, Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).

In a commentary on his YouTube channel, KSM directly addressed the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, stating that the initial passion and drive that addressed the promise to recover state funds have reduced.

KSM added that Ghanaians are getting more and more frustrated with the government since they had high expectations for it’s anti-corruption drive.

“We were sitting somewhere, and we got the promise that all the loot would be recovered. But up till now. Nothing,” he lamented.

He urged the government to reignite its efforts, stating, “So please, NDC, sit up. Do what you have to do. Let us feel it. Let’s stop rich and powerful people from getting away with corruption. We need the consistency, the drive and the firepower.”

KSM argued that if the political tables were turned and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had come to power on a similar promise, “we would have seen action” by now.
