    Renowned Ghanaian music producer M.O.G Beatz has officially announced the conclusion of his longstanding copyright infringement case involving dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale.

    In a press statement issued on December 11, 2025, M.O.G Beatz described the resolution as a significant milestone for both his career and the broader creative industry.

    “It is with great pleasure that I officially announce that the Copyright Infringement issue involving myself and Charles Nii Armah Mensah has been fully resolved as of today, 11th December 2025,” he stated.

    The award-winning producer emphasized that the closure of the matter goes beyond legal settlement, symbolizing a renewed commitment to securing creative rights and promoting fairness within Ghana’s music space.

    “This milestone reflects a collective commitment to safeguarding creative work, promoting mutual respect, and ensuring fairness within our music industry,” he added.

    M.O.G Beatz expressed heartfelt appreciation to his legal team for their unwavering professionalism and support throughout the dispute.

    “I extend my heartfelt appreciation to my legal team, whose professionalism and dedication were instrumental throughout this process.”

    He also acknowledged individuals who personally supported him, specifically mentioning Mr. Seidu and Mr. Kojo Spio, whose guidance and encouragement helped him remain resolute.

    “My sincere gratitude also goes to Mr. Seidu and Mr. Kojo Spio for their unwavering support, guidance, and steadfast belief in justice.”

    The producer concluded by thanking fans, colleagues, and all those who encouraged him to stand firm in defense of his intellectual property rights.

    “To everyone who stood by me, encouraged me, and valued the importance of protecting artistic rights, thank you.”

    The resolution brings an end to a dispute that sparked extensive public conversation about ownership, recognition, and the protection of creative contributions within Ghana’s entertainment industry.
