Lleyton and Bec Hewitt have relisted their $14 million Sydney mansion as they spend less time at the home while supporting their son Cruz’s growing tennis career.

The couple are seeking a buyer for their Glenhaven estate, three years after purchasing it from Parramatta Eels great Nathan Hindmarsh and his wife Bonnie for $10.3million.

They first listed the five-acre property in June before temporarily withdrawing it while travelling through Europe with Cruz for tennis tournaments.

The home has now returned to the market with the same price expectations as Cruz, 17, builds his career on the senior circuit.

A sale at that figure would be $3.7million above the purchase price, before accounting for improvements, transaction costs and other expenses.

Cruz reached the Wimbledon boys’ singles final in July and has been competing at the Phan Thiết Challenger in Vietnam, where he beat Constantin Bittoun Kouzmine in straight sets in his opening match.

His father, a former world No.1 and two-time grand slam singles champion, has travelled extensively with him, providing coaching and support.

Speaking after Wimbledon, Cruz described the influence Lleyton has had on his development.

‘My dad does help me a lot,’ he said.

‘He’s in my corner. He’s coaching a little bit, but he’s also just there for support. And every time I look over at him, he’s showing me positivity.

‘I think he’s pretty proud. I’m pretty happy. I think he’s happy with how far I’ve come with my mentality, my game style.’

While Lleyton accompanies Cruz overseas, Bec has largely remained in Australia supporting daughters Mia and Ava as they pursue opportunities in music, fashion and acting.

The family’s travel commitments have prompted speculation about a possible base in Florida or the Bahamas, but no relocation has been confirmed.

The Hewitts previously established a home in Nassau in 2009 during Lleyton’s playing career, helping ease the demands of international travel with their young children.

The Sydney property offers Cruz plenty of opportunity to practise closer to home.

Its championship-size tennis court was resurfaced recently by GreenSet, the company behind the Australian Open courts.

The six-bedroom, four-bathroom residence also includes a resort-style swimming pool, guest cottage, gym, barn and two paddocks.

A removable sprung dance floor provides extra space for the family’s activities.

Before the Hewitts moved in, Bonnie Hindmarsh, co-founder of Three Birds Renovations, transformed the original 1990s brick house into a modern coastal barn-style home.

The interiors feature vaulted ceilings, multiple entertaining areas, a cellar and a mudroom.

An oversized stone island anchors the kitchen, which also has Gaggenau appliances, a butler’s pantry and a servery connecting to the outdoor entertaining area.

The main bedroom includes a large walk-in wardrobe, an ensuite with a Kaldewei bathtub overlooking the grounds and direct access to the pool area.

The Hewitts made further improvements during their ownership, including landscaping by Secret Gardens.

Set behind electric gates, the estate has wide verandahs and outdoor spaces overlooking its gardens.

The couple returned to Sydney in 2023 after several years in Melbourne, having sold their Toorak mansion for $15.2million in 2022.

They also sold their Gold Coast property for $4.9million last year.
