Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platnumz has emphasized the importance of collaboration in the African music industry.
According to him, collaboration is one of the best ways to bridge the divide in African music.
Speaking with Becky on JoyNews on March 24, 2025, he noted that collaboration among artistes from different parts of the continent promotes unity and ensures the success of their careers.
“It’s good to collaborate with different artistes because you create a bridge between your country and the other person’s country, and this unites the continent,” Platnumz explained.
“Another benefit is the shared fan base between both artists. So, to me, collaboration is a great thing to do.”
Platnumz also revealed that he is planning to make Ghana his new home, citing the love and warmth he has received from fans in the country.
Diamond Platnumz is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava recording artiste, dancer, philanthropist, and businessman.
