Ghanaian highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena has voiced his concerns regarding the handling of the recent East Legon accident involving Bishop Salifu Amoako’s son.

Speaking in an interview on Adom TV, the “Adult Music” hitmaker expressed disappointment in the police and lawmakers, claiming that laws in Ghana seem to be applied unequally depending on one’s wealth and status.

Kwabena Kwabena remarked that it is troubling to see juveniles driving recklessly without any consequences, especially when videos of such behavior are posted online.

Referring to the tragic accident, he highlighted that Bishop Amoako’s son, who is reportedly responsible for the deaths of two young girls, should not have been driving in the first place.

“The young man’s social media has been filled with videos of him driving carelessly, and yet the police have failed to act,” the singer said.

He further criticized law enforcement, saying that they tend to ignore the reckless actions of wealthy individuals while strictly enforcing the law on the poor and vulnerable.

Kwabena Kwabena expressed his frustration, pointing out that the police, who are responsible for monitoring social media activities, did nothing despite the evidence.

“The laws in Ghana only seem to work on the weak and the poor. We need to ensure that juveniles are not driving, and law enforcement must do their job properly,” he said.

The musician also called for the public to learn from this tragic situation rather than mock the family involved. “It can happen to anyone,” he added, urging for more responsible behavior and better enforcement of laws to prevent such tragedies in the future.
