A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share a hilariously ironic twist in a recent romantic celebration she had with her boyfriend.

She recalled that after gifting her a money bouquet to celebrate the day, her boyfriend asked her to return a portion of the money so that he could buy weed.

Still basking in the surprise, she was shocked by her boyfriend’s unexpected request.

In disbelief that her boyfriend had asked her to return a portion of the thing he had gifted just moments after he gave her the gift.

The bouquet was made up of neat ₦500 notes wrapped round a red rose, and did not appear quite large. Despite this, her boyfriend requested that she give ₦10,000 from it.

This led many to wonder what would be left if she did give him that amount, with many even speculating whether the money in the bouquet was up to ₦10,000.

The moment has since gone viral on the internet, drawing a wave of hilarious reactions as many couldn’t stop laughing at the ironic turn of events.
