A lady has shared a story of how she met her husband whilst she was having an embarrassing moment.

The lady had went to a Buka Hut to give herself a good time, and midway through the meal, her period came unexpectedly. She had no pad, nor any back up whatsoever.

After the meal she stood up to get an ice cream. She noticed people’s eyes were all over her, “but I didn’t understand why”.

She got the ice cream and a guy walked up to her and said, “Excuse me… your backside is stained. Please take my jacket to cover up”.

The lady could hardly contain how embarrassed she felt, but the guy’s kindness calmed her. He wrapped his jacket around her and offered to pay for her ride home.

“I insisted on paying, but honestly I was just grateful someone chose kindness over ridicule”, she adds.

They exchange numbers and later went on to get married.

“Sometimes, love doesn’t start with butterflies…sometimes it starts with kindness in your most vulnerable moment”, she concluded.

The story which was shared on X has stirred reactions from X-users:

@Obaiyno  Sometimes, I wonder why so many ladies dont track their menstruation, at least you should know that it is about time the rain will pour, 2to3days before at least, and get prepare for it anywhere you go within that period..me as a man, knows this things..ladies,be vigilant please.

@Nedtips Now that we are in rain season, I’ll start wearing a jacket cause I might meet a girl that is cold and I’ll give her my jacket and the rest will be history. Congratulations to you both. Kindness is always a good thing.
