A lady has left netizens in stitches after capturing her Benin sister’s over-the-top reaction upon receiving an “I’m sorry package” for the first time.

Presumably, her sister had been upset after a disagreement, but someone surprised her with a peace offering, a thoughtful “I’m sorry package.”

The package, which contained 500 naira notes, perfume, treats, and a personalized note, quickly melted away her sister’s anger, albeit with some dramatic flair.

In a video shared online, the sister from Benin appeared stunned when she received the customized package. Her exaggerated facial expressions, playful gestures, and loud remarks indicated that it was her first time receiving such a heartfelt gesture.

She showcased the items as if they were rare treasures, even scanned the code on the personalized note.

The post drew laughs and comments from users, especially those familiar with Benin women’s expressive personalities. Many praised the sender for the thoughtful gesture, while others wished to receive an apology package to ease tension in their relationships.

Online users speculated that the lady’s playful gesture showed that she had forgiven the sender of the package.
