A lady has taken to social media to share her gratitude and shock after narrowly escaping what could have been a tragic incident at home.
According to her, she had gone to bed as usual, unaware that the standing fan in her room had caught fire and was burning through the night. Shockingly, the entire fan burned to ashes while she remained fast asleep, completely unaware of the danger in her sitting room.
“I WOKE UP TO THIS , Every where was blur😂😂 I couldn’t see anything then I thought we were in heaven cos it was Aug 2 😂😂.”
The clip shared online shows the charred remains of the fan, leaving many stunned at how she managed to sleep through it and, more importantly, survive without injury.
Social media users have since reacted with a mix of relief and concern, warning others to unplug appliances before going to bed. Many described her survival as nothing short of a miracle.
While some enquired about the brand of the standing fan, others sympathized with the lady and were grateful she was alive.
