A lady has called out her friend for refusing to refund the money she contributed as part of the committee of friends.
The bride-to-be had insisted that this particular friend should buy her wedding Asoebi.
The lady bluntly refused because 150,000 was quite a lot. Coupled with the fact that she had already made contributions as part of the committee of friends.
She also promised to handle all the bottles and pure water that will be used that day, yet, the bride insists she joins the Asoebi and pay for it.
After a back and forth between the friends, the lady decided that she will not be attending the wedding anymore.
She messaged the admin and requested a refund of her own contribution. The admin informs her that the bride had told her not to do that.
“I don’t understand, who gave her the right over the money?
I thought she wasn’t suppose to know anything about the committee of friends
and donations”
On trying to reach the bride, the lady realized she had been blocked everywhere.
“Edith if you’re seeing this, God will punish you“, she concludes.

@BlessingCh73232 I really don’t bother myself over all this Asoebi things fa! And you my love, I’d advise that you don’t stress it especially when you’re on a budget. Outside parties, we’ve got real life issues, bills to pay, investments, real life savings etc…
I see no reason why I’m been coerced into some group of people who a good number have zero knowledge of the value of money. Most of them you see do not spend a dime on those lavish Asoebi regalia. If my friend is not okay with me attending her wedding without joining her asoebi due to financial constraints then she’s not my friend at all! I don’t stress myself over these things o.
When it’s my time, I may not even have asoebi girls, because how many girlfriends do I keep? Imagine opting to take care of all water in such big event, asides the huge contributions already made and someone’s giving attitude for some bridal train or whatever they call it… I can’t have such friends sha.
