As a show of his generosity, the musician had paid a sum of GH¢66,000 to cover the full cost of spinal surgery for Osman Awudu Abu, a student studying BA History at KNUST.

The student was in urgent need of the surgery to prevent permanent nerve damage and potential loss of mobility, according to a widely circulated appeal shared online.

Earlier, media personality Reginald JOJO Gwira took to social media to highlight the student’s condition and called for public support.

The post indicated that Osman had a short window to undergo the critical procedure before the end of the month, with the required amount being GH¢66,000.

Shortly after the appeal gained traction, Kweku Smoke quote-tweeted the post with a simple but powerful message: “Pay it 🙏🏾”, signaling his intent to take full responsibility for the medical bill.

His gesture has been widely applauded across social media platforms, with fans and followers commending him for using his platform to bring hope and relief to someone in desperate need.
