The head coach of the Sudan national team, James Kwasi Appiah, was recently spotted at the engagement ceremony of Prophet Prince Osei in Accra, Ghana.

The event was attended by high-profile personalities, including Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams of Action Chapel International, who was accompanied by

the former Black Stars coach.

Appiah was dressed in an all-white kaftan attire as he observed the proceedings at the event. Duncan-Williams also played a pastoral role in officiating the marriage ceremony based on biblical principles.

This appearance follows Kwasi Appiah’s success in qualifying war-torn Sudan for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

After participating in six matches during the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers, Sudan secured second place in Group F with eight points.

Angola led the group with fourteen points, followed by Niger with seven points in third place.

Ghana finished at the bottom of the group with three points. Sudan and Angola were the two teams to qualify from Group F.

During the qualifiers, Sudan scored five goals, conceded six, and achieved two clean sheets. The team won two games, drew two, and lost two.

Appiah aims to deliver an impressive performance at the 2025 AFCON in Morocco to further solidify his legacy.
