A viral video featuring the teenage daughter of convicted evangelist Nana Agradaa has stirred strong reactions online, particularly from Prophet Kumchacha.

On July 19, 2025, the young girl made headlines after a video surfaced on social media in which she pleaded with the court to pardon her mother, who is currently serving a 15-year prison sentence. In the emotional video, the teen expressed the deep emotional toll her mother’s absence has had on her life.

The video quickly ignited public debate, not only for the sentiment expressed but also for the decision to have a minor front such a sensitive appeal. One of the most vocal critics of the move was Prophet Kumchacha, who posted his reaction online a day later, on July 20.

In his response, Kumchacha labeled the incident as “dumb,” pointing fingers at Agradaa’s husband, Angel Asiamah, whom he suspects may have orchestrated the video.

“Asiamah, be sensible. There are a lot of people in Nsawam prison for stealing. Some are even there in jail for stealing a tuber of cassava. If you want public sympathy, all you need is a good lawyer,” Kumchacha stated.

He went on to condemn the use of the minor in such a public manner, warning of long-term consequences for the child’s well-being and reputation.

“Don’t you know you are destroying the small girl’s future? She is even a minor. Involving her in this issue can destroy her life because social media doesn’t forget,” the outspoken prophet further stated.
