Tottenham Hotspur FC slipped deeper into relegation trouble after suffering a disappointing defeat to Crystal Palace FC in the Premier League on Thursday.

The North London side’s struggles continued as Palace produced a strong performance to secure all three points, further increasing pressure on Spurs as the season approaches its decisive stage. The defeat leaves Tottenham hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone, raising serious concerns among supporters about the club’s ability to retain its top-flight status.

Spurs have been badly hit by injury crisis this season as key players, such as Mohammed Kudus remain sidelined as he recovers from a thigh injury. The versatile forward had often been tasked with driving Spurs’ attack, using his pace and dribbling ability to create chances in difficult matches. His absence is clearly felt as they lack creativity in front of goal.

However, Tottenham’s overall performances have struggled to match expectations, with defensive lapses and missed opportunities proving costly in recent weeks. The loss to Palace further highlighted the challenges facing the squad as they attempt to steady their campaign.

With crucial fixtures still to come, Tottenham will need improved performances from key players, hope some injured players like Kudus recover intime, if they are to climb away from the relegation battle and secure their place in the Premier League next season.
