Veteran Ghanaian journalist and broadcaster, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, has officially returned to work after a six-month hiatus following a near-fatal shooting incident in December 2024 that left him with a serious eye injury.

In a powerful comeback that has drawn emotional reactions from across the country, Kofi Adoma announced his return with an upcoming tell-all interview with controversial figure Serwaa Broni, known for her alleged romantic involvement with a former Ghanaian president.

The seasoned broadcaster, who has built a reputation for fearlessly pursuing hard-hitting stories, shared a gripping trailer for the interview on his Kofi TV platform.

The video shows him seated outdoors, dressed in a blue-and-white shirt layered under a woolly jacket, with dark sunglasses covering his still-recovering eyes.

Despite the visible effects of his injury, Kofi Adoma appeared mentally sharp and confident, guiding the conversation with poise and composure.

The preview captured moments of intensity, including scenes where Serwaa Broni was moved to tears as Kofi probed deeply into her experiences and allegations.

The video has stirred widespread admiration online, with Ghanaians hailing the broadcaster’s bravery, resilience, and unwavering commitment to his profession.

Many viewers commended him for returning to the screen even before he had fully regained his vision.

“True professionalism,” one fan wrote. “You can’t keep a good journalist down.”
