Ghanaian highlife musician, KK Fosu has highlighted the importance of experience in handling onstage mistakes.

He made this statement during an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, during which he discussed a recent incident in which Fameye’s performance was disrupted by a DJ error.

The ‘Anadwo Yede’ singer in his submission noted that it takes tact to navigate stage hiccups.

“You need to think smarter. They [the audience] don’t look to your DJ or your bandsmen. It’s you the artiste they look up to,” he said.

He emphasized that handling such situations requires the ability to steer a performance back on track during such blunders in the world of true artistry.

“It takes experienced musicians to control these things, emotions, and stuff,” KK Fosu mentioned.

KK’s commentary serves as a reminder that live performances are as much about engaging with the audience as they are about delivering perfect renditions of songs.

“I think about my audience first, and how they’ll feel,” he stated.

KK Fosu advised musicians, on this incident and suggested that it should serve as a valuable lesson that invites quick thinking on stage.

In the meantime, the highlife musician, known for his sterling performances on stage, he is organizing a concert at the Bayview Village on Saturday, 21st December 2024.
