Ghanaian musician King Promise has pledged to pay for media personality Tilly Akua Nipaa’s master’s degree programme.
According to the “Perfect Combi” hitmaker, he said this is his way of thanking her for the support she gave him during this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
Speaking in an interview on Accra FM with Nana Romeo, King Promise said he appreciated how Tilly handled her work and helped him during his campaign for Artiste of the Year.
“I like Tilly. I believe she was diligent in executing her job. I was just speaking with my manager, she is going to do her masters, and I want to pay for that. She’s done a great job and contributed to what we achieved,” he said.
He went on to commend her professionalism and integrity, stating the fact-based approach she brought to her role as the official spokesperson for the King Promise brand in the lead up to the Ghana Music Awards.
“She speaks facts and represented us so well. She didn’t step on people’s toes, she was respectful and professional, and I respect that. This is my way of giving back,” he added.
Before the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, where King Promise had 10 nominations, Tilly Akua Nipaa played an important role in supporting the Afrobeat artiste.
She helped trumpet King Promise’s achievements in the year under review.
