Ghanaian musician King Paluta has come under fire on social media after angrily insulting a guest who reportedly did not enjoy his performance at an event in London.
The incident occurred during the All White Boat Party, where the Aseda hitmaker was one of the performers. In a video shared on social media, King Paluta was seen pausing his performance to hurl insults at a female guest who appeared unimpressed with his act.
Reports suggest that the guest was not vibing with his performance and even signalled for the Aseda hitmaker to leave the stage.
This did not sit well with King Paluta, who immediately responded with harsh words.
“I am here because of my fans. She can’t stand there and give me that facial reaction. If you don’t give a f** about me, I don’t give a f** about you either. Your ugly wig,” he said during the outburst.
Despite efforts by some people in the crowd to calm him down, King Paluta insisted on expressing his anger, saying he needed to “free his mind.”
After the incident, he continued his performance with his song ‘For the Popping’, and many people at the front of the crowd were seen dancing and enjoying the show.
However, the video of his outburst has gone viral, sparking backlash from social media users who criticised him for being unprofessional.
One X user wrote, “Very, very unprofessional. Tsww… so he expects people to always jam to his songs when performing??? What if she was tired? Does he expect everyone to fall in love with his songs? Not everyone will like the songs you release. He should know this and stop creating unnecessary scenes.”
Another added, “Paluta should relax, and as an artiste, he should know there’s always criticism and not everyone will like you. So why rain insults on someone because of criticism? He should just be careful—some people can cause your entire career to go down.”
